Our Story

Bayou Burro started as a handful of friends looking for a place to play after work and grew into a regular Houston-area circuit. We're not a casino. The chips you cash in are bragging rights and league points.

We bring the cards, the chips, and the clock. The bars bring the food and drinks. You bring the energy.

How It Works

• Show up at any of our partner bars on game night — check the schedule for tonight's venue.
• No-limit Texas Hold'em tournaments. We run the structure; you focus on the cards.
• Earn points based on finish position; the season's top players get invited to the league championship.
• New to poker? No problem — we'll walk you through it. Friendly tables, real coaching from the regulars.
